A standfirst
Artio is a Jaipur gallery and print label run by Aashish. Originals in the gallery; collectible print editions in the shop.
I. The founding
Artio began, like most things, with a question I could not quite let go of. The label is the same question, asked of cloth: what does it mean to make a small number of things, really well, and to sell them only to the people who want them?
The story now centers on Jaipur. The originals are housed in our gallery there, while the online shop carries carefully reproduced print editions in approachable sizes for collectors who want to live with the work every day.

II. The work
The paintings come first, and the originals remain in the Jaipur gallery collection. The shop now focuses on printed, near-indistinguishable copies made from those originals using archival pigment inks and fine art paper.
Each print is available in postcard, A4, and A3 sizes, with matching frame options for each format. Orders above INR 1,000 ship free; below that, a flat INR 150 shipping fee is applied. Unframed orders usually dispatch in 3 to 5 business days, while framed orders usually dispatch in 5 to 7 business days, followed by 2 to 5 business days for most metro deliveries and 4 to 8 business days elsewhere. Prints are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged.
